  • Consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR): If you give us your express consent.
  • Fulfillment of the contract (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR): To fulfill our contractual obligations to you.
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR): For processes required by law.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR): To safeguard our legitimate interests, e.g. optimization of our online offering.

Storage duration

Personal data is only stored for as long as is necessary for the respective legal basis (e.g. for the duration of the contractual relationship) or for as long as there are statutory retention obligations.

2. data security

Our website uses TLS encryption (Transport Layer Security) for the secure transmission of your data. You can recognize this by the lock symbol in the address bar of your browser and the prefix https://.

We have also implemented technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of your data against unauthorized access, loss or manipulation.

3. collection and storage of personal data

a) When visiting the website

Each time our website is accessed, the following information is automatically recorded in the server log files:

  • IP address (anonymized)
  • Date and time of access
  • Dwell time
  • Visited pages
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Origin URL (referrer)

This data is used exclusively to ensure trouble-free operation of the website, to improve our offer and to analyze errors.

b) Use of cookies

Our website uses cookies to improve user-friendliness and to ensure the functionality of the web store. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. These enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

  • Session cookies: Are deleted after the browser is closed
  • Permanent cookies: remain stored for a defined period of time

For cookies that are not required for functional reasons, we ask for your consent in the cookie window (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Only if this is actively given will your personal data be processed for the purpose of optimizing the shopping experience for the duration set in the browser.

Accepting cookies is not a prerequisite for visiting our website and can be deactivated and deleted in your browser settings.

4. web analysis / use of analysis tools

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, the web analysis service of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, California 94043, USA) to analyze user behavior. The data is processed anonymously. You can find more information at:

https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.

Google Analytics uses cookies to evaluate information about the user behavior of visitors to our website and to create reports so that we can get a better picture of our users. These reports contain information on age, gender and interests, but this data cannot be assigned to individual persons. This data is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Your IP address is recorded, but as our website has implemented Google Analytics IP anonymization, it is immediately pseudonymized (i.e. by deleting the last 8 bits, the personal reference is removed). This data is not merged with other Google data.

You can stop the use of the activities and information of your Google account under "Settings for advertising" at https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated via a checkbox.

The processing of the data is based on the legal provisions of Article 6 of the DSGVO. Our concern in terms of legitimate interest is the improvement of our offer and our web presence.

A direct customer agreement was concluded between Google and us by accepting the "Data Processing Addendum" in Google Analytics.

Below you will find information regarding Google and the use of user data:

5. retargeting

We also use the data collected during your visit to show you so-called banner advertising. Internet users who have already shown an interest in our store or our products are shown advertisements on other websites about products they have viewed or products that are similar to the products they have viewed. We use this to make our website more interesting for you. This is because we are convinced that the display of personalized, interest-based advertising is generally more attractive to you than advertising with no personal reference. The basis for this is the setting of cookies and the analysis of previous usage behavior (no personal data of visitors is stored).

6. third party cookies

In addition, we use a number of advertising partners who help us to make the Internet offer and our websites more interesting for you. Cookies from these companies are also stored on your end device when you visit our website. These cookies have a lifespan of 14 days to 10 years and delete themselves after this time and only contain pseudonymous, usually even anonymous, data. This includes, for example, data about which products you have viewed in the web store or which products you have searched for there, whether you have purchased something or, beyond the website, which pages you have previously visited and which products you were interested in.

7. use of social plugins

Social plugins ("plugins") may be integrated on some of our websites, recognizable by the corresponding logos.

The following services are used:
Facebook

In order to prevent an unconscious and unintentional collection and transmission of information to these service providers, we use the so-called "2-click solution". This means that a direct connection between your browser and the servers of these service providers is only established when you click on one of these buttons. They thereby receive information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you have a user account with the respective service and are logged in there, this data is linked to your account. If you interact with the plugins, e.g. by clicking the "Like" or "Share" button, this information is also assigned to your account.

If you do not want this data to be allocated, please log out of all services before visiting this website. And if you do not want the companies mentioned to collect data about the use of our websites, please do not click the buttons.

As the website operator, we have no influence over what data is collected by these services, nor how it is used. For more detailed information, please refer to the data protection information of the respective service provider.

8. use of Google Maps

Our website uses Google Maps to display the company location on a map. Google Maps is operated by Google Inc. By using Google Maps, information about the use of the website, including your IP address, may be transmitted to Google. When you access the subpage in which the map is integrated, your browser establishes a direct connection with Google's servers, whereby the map content is transmitted directly to your browser and integrated into the website. We therefore have no influence over the type and scope of the data collected by Google in this way. For more information on data processing and your rights and settings options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Google's privacy policy.

You can find the terms of use for Google Maps here: https://www.google.com/intl/de_DE/help/terms_maps.html

It is possible that videos from our official YouTube channel are embedded on our websites. An offer from YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA).

In order to protect your privacy, we use YouTube's "extended data protection mode" when integrating the video, but your browser establishes a direct connection with YouTube's servers when you call up the sub-page into which the video is integrated. However, the extended data protection mode does not yet save any data; only when you click on the video is the YouTube server informed which particular page of our website you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, this data will be assigned to your personal profile. If you do not want this assignment, please log out of your account beforehand.

You can find more information about this in Google's privacy policy.

For example, transport or logistics companies receive the necessary data for the delivery of the goods as part of the order processing. The data passed on in this way may only be used by these service providers to fulfil their task.

The data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of Article 6 DSGVO (in particular consent and/or necessity for the fulfilment of the contract).

We process your personal data, insofar as necessary, for the duration of the entire business relationship (from the initiation and processing to the termination of a contract) and beyond that in accordance with the statutory retention and documentation obligations and until the end of any legal dispute, ongoing warranty and guarantee periods etc.
